FULL SPECIFICATIONS

General Layout

She looks like a much larger and grander yacht than  her 83' would indicate.  The cockpit is high up off the water, the deck hardware and passarelle are massive. She  is a "little ship" compared to her newer  fiberglass counterparts. There  is a comfortable lower helm and a secondary fly-bridge station  up top.  The entertaining area up top is large and comfortable and features a new Bimini top, and plenty of seating areas.  With her long range, this is a yacht that is more than  capable of staying  in good weather year  round.

The accommodations below provide two nice staterooms with large heads. The Aft Master is very private with its own stairway  from the salon. The two crew areas are in the bow.  If you are looking for a crewed yacht,  this yacht offers a better  space than  most yachts built today.   The Main deck features a large salon  aft, and the galley/dining is amidships.  Forward of the Galley and dining area is the lower helm area that houses most of the yachts systems and navigation  equipment.  This is the primary driving station.

The Electronics have been recently upgraded and the mechanical MAN engines have been outfitted with digital sensors so they can be properly monitored from the Garmin Screens.

Recent Upgrades Include:

A failed A.C. waterline caused partial flooding of the engine room and aft cabin.  This necessitated extensive cleaning and the replacement of equipment. Extensive surveys were done before and after the work was done. She is now better than before the mishap.  This is a perfect live-aboard or charter yacht that can cruise the world.

Cockpit and Salon

When you come up the transom steps you find a large deck with seating and table.   There is a large overhang so you are well protected from the elements. The aft salon doors open to the cockpit providing you a great indoor/outdoor living space. Once you enter the salon you have cabinetry and bar equipment, perfect for entertaining.  A little further into the room, there are two large opposing settees and a large TV on a lift to port.  There are lots of large windows to let light in and window shades for privacy.

Dining and Galley

Just forward of the salon is a dining area to port with a large table and setting for 6.  This is an elegant space with updated fabrics on the settee and wall accent panels. There  is lots of light coming in from the window on the port side of the deck house. The Dining area has  ample  storage for place  settings and serving  pieces and additional  storage for dry goods and bottles.  Blue Symphonie comes with extensive glassware and linens to accommodate guests, and is perfect  for chartering.  The Galley is on the Starboard side of the yacht.   It has all the appliances, counter space, and equipment the cook on board  would want.  There  are large windows looking out the starboard side of the yacht providing lots of natural  light. A new, large,  stand up refrigerator  was just installed and a solid Cherry door was crafted to match the rest of the interior.  The countertop also has a built in end grain cutting board  area, perfect  for prepping food.

Engine Room

The two - 10 cylinder MAN engines are 808HP  each and are running low RPM at 9 knots.   They were overhauled at 4502 hours  and now have  8400+  hours  on them.   The floor of the engine room is elevated giving you great  access to the components that need service. There  is a large power takeoff on each engine driving a hydraulic pump to power the stabilizers, Windlasses, and Davit.

The old generators were removed and larger 27 KW 3 Phase 1500 RPM Cummins Onan  generators were installed. This yacht is set  up to live away from the dock for extended periods; making it the perfect  long range voyaging  yacht!
